# How to Start Live Trading on OKX ?

In this guide we will guide you through  how to execute live trading through OKX in two ways. [First, Create a trading bot by yourself and start live trading.](#id-1.-create-a-trading-bot-by-yourself-and-start-live-trading) [Second, copy a trading bot and start live trading.](#id-2.-copy-a-trading-bot-and-start-live-trading)

## [1. Create a trading bot by yourself and start live trading](#step-1-create-a-custom-signal-at-okx-exchange-and-obtain-the-okx-signal-token)

### **Step 1: Create a Custom Signal at OKX Exchange and Obtain the OKX Signal Token.**

1. Log into your [OKX](https://www.okx.com/) account and go to Trade -> Trading Bots -> [Marketplace](https://www.okx.com/cn/trading-bot/signalbot).

2. Under the Signal Bot sub-tab, select “Create”.

3. Click on "Add custom signal" to begin creating your custom signal.

4. Enter the signal name and a brief description, then click “Create signal”.

4. Then, you will be shown the next page that prompts you to fill in the requisite alert messages on TradingView. **Please note that you don't have to fill in the message on your own as EasyStrategist will do it for you automatically.&#x20;**<mark style="color:red;">**All you need to do is copy the signalToken (which you will use in the next step) and then click "Complete" to finish creating the signal.**</mark>

### **Step 2: Configure Auto Trade on MultiplesX.**

1. Go to the strategy details page and click "Auto Trade".

2. Select “OKX - OKX Direct”.

2. Add the strategy to your existing trading bot or set it up as a new trading bot.

3. Choose the symbol for auto trading (currently supports perpetual contracts), interval, and confirm whether it is in demo trading mode.

4. Paste the copied signal token into the “OKX Signal Token” field. Example: **`cqmIG7XtBiRIdo7ezf1BD4PhvEr7oaCYoINAFjVl+fypVSu6vMNKpQbD4xIJ7j7zIOziCzn1XqZx7CSp1S2dfg==`**

5. Select the invest type.

6. After setting up, click “Create a Trading Bot”. Now you have successfully created a bot.&#x20;

### **Step 3: Create Signal Bot at OKX Exchange.**

1. Find the signal set up in Step 1 and click “Create Bot”.

2. Choose the trading pairs you want to use this strategy<mark style="color:red;">**.**</mark>

<mark style="color:red;">**Note: To employ the same trading strategy across multiple pairs while allowing these pairs to share a common margin pool, you can opt to include multiple pairs in your setup. Subsequently, you must add corresponding strategy runners—each executing the same strategy and utilizing the same OKX signal token, but with different trading pairs—into the trading bot you just created on the MultiplesX platform.**</mark>

3. Input your leverage and margin amount.

4. You can also go in to the advanced settings for fine-tuning your trading preferences.

5. After completing the settings, click “Create” to activate your strategy signal for auto trading.

Congratulations! You have successfully created your Signal Bot on OKX Exchange.&#x20;

You now have complete control and visibility over your Signal Bot. You can monitor its performance and access detailed information at any time by viewing its 'Details' through the icon shown below.

## 2. Copy a trading bot and start live trading.

**Step 1: Go to the Discover - Top Trading Bots session and select a trading bot you want to copy.**

**Step 2: Create a Custom Signal Bot at OKX Exchange and Obtain the OKX Signal Token.**

<mark style="color:red;">**Please note that if the trading bot you want to copy includes multiple strategy runners, you will need to create multiple signal bots at OKX and obtain the corresponding signal tokens.**</mark>

7. Choose the trading pair for the bot <mark style="color:red;">**(Ensure the trading pair matches with the trading pair supported by the strategy runner of the trading bot you want to copy).**</mark>

8. Input your leverage and margin amount.

**Step3: Copy the trading bot you selected at MultiplesX**

1. Click the “Copy” button on the trading bot detail page.

2. Select the trade mode and input OKX signal token, and then click "Confirm".
